The personal data you provide (name/surname, biographical data, address, social security number, telephone and e-mail contact data, profession/specialization, images, photos, audio/video recordings) are processed for the following purposes and corresponding legal bases:

How we process your data – The Data Controller has taken appropriate security measures in order to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data and imposes similar security measures on third party providers and Processors. There is no automated decision-making based on your data, including profiling. Data is processed using manual and computerized tools, with logic strictly related to the purposes of processing.
If the Data Controller intends to further process your personal data for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected, prior to such further processing, he or she will provide you with information regarding that different purpose and any additional relevant information by asking for your consent, if necessary.
Provision of data and refusal – The provision of personal data is necessary for the purpose of one’s participation as a Speaker in the conference events organized by the owner and for the fulfillment of tax and accounting obligations, and therefore the refusal by the person concerned to provide his or her personal data will result in the inability to participate as a Speaker.
Recipients of personal data – Your personal data, with the exception of images/photos/videos (live or deferred) of yourself as a Faculty Member of synchronous or asynchronous FAD events, will not be disclosed, but may be communicated to the Data Controller collaborators and/or data processors within the limits of the purposes of the processing specified above; subjects, entities or authorities to whom the communication of personal data is mandatory by virtue of legal provisions or orders by the authorities. The subjects to whom your personal data will be communicated by the Data Controller may process them as authorized processors, data controllers or autonomous data controllers.
Data transfer abroad – No data will be transferred to non-EU countries.
Retention period – Data are retained for the time necessary to pursue the purposes indicated in the information notice, for legal obligations or for the further period necessary to protect rights, including in court. For purposes of newsletters and/or sending information on activities of interest to Members, data will be retained until consent is revoked or a request for deletion is made by the Data Subject.
Your rights – You have the right to ask the Data Controller for accessing your personal data, requesting the rectification of inaccurate data or the integration of incomplete data, requesting the deletion of your personal data (under the conditions set out in Art. 17 GDPR), restricting their processing (under the conditions of Art.18 GDPR), objecting to their processing, requesting a copy of one’s personal data in electronic format as well as the right to transmit such personal data for use within the service of other Data Controllers (so-called data portability). Moreover, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated decision-making – including profiling – if the decision has a legal effect on the user or entails an equally significant effect. Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority – www.garanteprivacy.it
